APRIL HOTLIST

Spring is now well and truly upon us and I for one find it impossible to know what to wear.
Even though the sun is out it’s just not quite warm enough for bare legs but then its too warm for tights. Oh the worries of us fashion victims!

Distressed jeans are the only things that seem to be the answer. So versatile & so cool, they are going to be a saving grace for this Spring (if I can find a pair that fits!-any suggestions welcome)

A FLASH OF LIGHT

Day 4 of London Fashion Week and my last day saw me braving the all white look. And let me tell you, when you're squashed on the tube surrounded by little people, its a nerve racking experience.

Thankfully my whites stayed white throughout my crazy busy day.

What I really want to say is how pretty are these boots?!
Whistles finest and higher than my usual choice of footwear...after about 2 hours of walking around in them I caved in...and changed back into my AirMax. You can't say I didn't try!

Oh and this scarf was a genuine life saver (hence the reason you haven't seen me out of it!)

DAY 2 MOODY BLUES

Day 2 of LFW...and I'm doing my best moody model impression in my really rather comfortable outfit of the day.

The sun finally came out so our amazing photographer managed to snap some piccys of me rushing between Somerset House and Fashion Scout for various shows.

Another jam packed day beginning with Holly Fulton and ending with a lovely drinks reception in the showrooms. Here's to the mini burgers and endless champagne!

Bring it on Sunday. And please more sun and less wind!

A TOUCH OF DRIES

So an outfit post (I know shocking stuff!) Sorry about the poor lighting in the snaps but they were shot just before our christmas party. Those are the beautiful tables you can see in the top piccy!

Was such a lovely evening with old friends, lots of food and an epic quiz.

Just wanted to show you my A M A Z I N G charity shop find in the shape of this Dries Van Noten blazer. Perfectly oversized but also fits so well across the shoulders. It couldn't have been a better find!

FROM DAY TO NIGHT

So I have very exciting news! I have been voted in as Deputy Fashion Editor of my uni paper called Nouse. I'm so excited to see what I can bring to the paper and also to their online section that is really taking off.

On the side of that I also write for another student website that is brand new, called My Uni-Verse. Its basically a platform for students to find nights out, places to work, things to buy. I write for the Undercover Student section giving little tips on student friendly fashion.

So there's a bit about me! Check out the sites if you want to. Here's the most recent one I've done, styling the amazing Zara polo neck for Daytime and Nighttime. I want that slip dress so bad! With that bright pink beanie I reckon it would  be the perfect outfit.

LFW: THE FINAL DAY

So 5 days, 58 shows (not all of which I managed to make this year-must try harder next time) and 15 presentations later, London Fashion Week September 2013 is over.

I am exhausted just from thinking about all the miles the models have walked, all the photos that have been taken, all the umbrellas that have been abandoned and all the chocolate I consumed. But it was an amazing and eye opening experience of a world where names are impossible to pronounce and just because it’s raining does not mean you can’t dress like you’re in Saint Tropez in the height of summer. So a round of applause for the SS’14 collections that will carry us through the grey winter and here’s to the next season!

These snaps were taken in an underground car park...by my dad...without his glasses on...so excuse the blurriness but hope you like the outfit! Thanks dad. Oh and excuse the hair-it was raining all day!

THE GIRL WITH FEATHERS IN HER HAIR

This was my outfit from the weekend, from the day of the wedding to be more precise! Those heels were a killer by the end of the day but, thanks to the wonder that is PartyFeet, I was able to keep them on until promptly switching into trainers the minute the bride and groom left!

A gorgeous Whistles dress and a fabulous, feathered fascinator, topped off with subtle gold jewellery and red lips.

Jacket: H&M    Dress: Whistles (tied with a piece of red cord)    Shoes: Kurt Geiger    Bag: You're So Vain
Fascinator: Hired for the day!

MONOCHROME EASTER

Happy Easter to you all around the world! Hope you've all been having lovely days. I'm sorry (yet again!) for the lack of posts but I will really really try this time to post more regularly!

These photos are my ode to spring...which seems yet to appear in the Northern Hemisphere, especially in England! So all I can do is dream about wearing my bikini...
