FRAME

FRAME has always done some of my favourite ad campaigns and their 2016 Fall/Winter campaign is no exception.

Leaning away from a focus on denim, Erik Torstensson, one of FRAME's co-founders, captures the models looking bad ass in an array of velvet, leather and outerwear.

I also love the contrast of the two models' hair; one ethereal and glossy while the other hangs, shaggy and slightly unruly.

Although it's nearly July and hence the height of summer (supposedly) in England, winter campaigns seem to be catching my attention as I shove my feet back into my socks and throw a sweatshirt into my bag.

IN MY CALVINS

Sunday afternoon, going into tea time, excuse me while I slip into my matching underwear set and arrange my hair artfully on the pillow...

Ha sure, right because that's what I'd rather be doing. Not hugging a mug of tea dreaming of which biscuit I'm going to dunk in it.

Excuse the cynicism. Because I actually really love this campaign for Calvin Klein Spring/Summer 2016. I don't really know why. But I just think it's shot so beautifully and the tag lines are just so clever.

It was shot by Tyrone Lebon, my latest photography obsession. He shot a recent editorial in last month's Vogue on location in Jamaica and it was beautiful and effortless in one moment. And I think that's what he's captured in these photos.

The effortless of wearing Calvin Klein.

What do you do in #yourCalvins? Something perhaps a little more ambitious than tea drinking?!

WINKY FACE

i-D always always pull it out the bag with their covers. I can't help but love pretty much every single one.

This year the magazine is celebrating turning 35, still such a baby in the mag world but no less amazing.

Can't really explain why this cover grabbed me.

Maybe it's the messy do; maybe the random freckles; maybe even the flawless brows.

I have no idea. I just love it.

MONDAY MOTIVATION #18

Monday down...4 to go...although when you're spending every day in the library, what day of the week it is doesn't really matter.

But it certainly doesn't stop me from procrastinating (a lot).

And this new Free People campaign is the bomb.

I just keep dreaming of turquoise waters, fresh white kicks and an ice cold can of Coke that screams...

Legend!!

WE ARE ONE

How is it that everything shot in black and white just looks that much cooler?!

I mean I guess it helps when the subject in question is a Victoria's Secret Model but hey, I have also been partial to the odd Inkwell filter or two.

THIS IS WHAT A FEMINIST LOOKS LIKE

So Emma Watson has come a seriously long way.

From the frizzy haired know-it-all in Harry Potter to a sassy, designer wearing thief to delivering passionate speeches on feminism, I think it's safe to say that she has (nearly) done it all.

And she just so happens to look absolutely gorgeous in this shoot.
That bottom shot...unreal.

UTOPIA

The effortlessly beautiful Rebecca Hall showing off her more bad ass side.

She is just perfection.

And I love her hair in this short messy crop-impossible to re-create by us mere mortals of course.

ALEXA X MYTHERESA

My Theresa (the online superstore) are doing a series of portraits and interviews every month with fashionable women.

First on the list is the ever gorgeous Alexa Chung who told the website that "I don't let other people's opinions dictate the way I dress. I really don't care what other people think."

And doesn't she look fab?!
