So whilst I hide inside the house away from the torrential downpour that seems never ending in England, these lovely ladies are dressing in their best and stalking the streets of New York.

Safe to say I have been incessantly checking my Instagram and Snapchat for updates from the shows and the streets. And neither have disappointed.

And what a glamorous rest they were.

These are just a few of my fav shots from LFW. The theme this season seemed to be dressing down. A lot of trainers and comfy jumpers topped off with amazing hats and bags, perfect for the weather than was anything other than great. 

Now all I can think about are those felt fedoras. Blue or black...blue or black...

THE PHOTOGRAPHER IN THE SPOTLIGHT

I know this is a little late but I wanted to share with you guys a little project I did while I was at LFW.

Everywhere I looked people were either having their picture taken or taking the picture! It was quite amazing the number of cameras that were on display simply as accessories. 

The street-style trend where everyone and anyone is the photographer, is one that seems to have got slightly out of control this season so I think it will  be interesting to see where it goes from here!

NYFW '14 - THE STREETS

Streetstyle...the fashion away from the catwalks that is equally as exciting. Loving all the one pieces. Making me want to invest in a longer pair of dungarees for winter!

On another note, I have a Press Pass for the showrooms in Somerset House for London Fashion Week which I'm mega excited about!! So I will do a few reports from what I see and take some snaps. So stay tuned for some LFW updates. Follow me on Instagram for instant action!

PEOPLE: TOMMY TON

Tommy Ton is for me one of the best streetstyle photographers around. His eye for detail is second to none and his portraits of both the famous and everyday people who he encounters are so beautiful. 

He shoots for both style.com and GQ magazine.co.uk and also has his own fashion blog JakandJil. He is fashions go to man about the streets, especially at this time of year.

I love his shots and his are the first photos I look at to see what was worn in and around each Fashion Week and so, at the moment, all I seem to do is sit on his blog!
