SPIRIT OF THE MOMENT

Probably one of my all time favourite ever Vogue shoots. And I know I exaggerate all the time but seriously, all white everythang?! It's like they knew what I was thinking.

And that fifth photo?! The man's shirt, short skirt and sleeveless blazer...say what?!

I want it all. And I want it now. Bring on the summer.

UP A MOUNTAIN

I'm off up the mountain come tomorrow morning and couldn't be more excited!

We're going en famille to the French Alps to visit my sister who's doing a chalet girl course out there. Haven't seen her in ages so I can't wait.
Meant to be a fair bit of snow but hopefully some sun too! Love a good skiing goggle tan.

I'll schedule a few posts to keep you all entertained but for now I'm off to pack! Joy of joys.
I leave you with my skiing must haves.

Jacket: Killy (old)    Polo-neck: Primark    Goggles: Scott    Dry Shampoo: Batiste (essential for avoiding the dreaded hat/helmet hair)    Beanie: UrbanOutfitters    Sunnies: RayBan    Silk Scarf: Liberty (post on this beauty coming soon)    Notebook: Moleskin    Hand Cream: & Other Stories    Suncream: Piz Buin

CAROLINE DE MAIGRET

Probably one of the coolest girls out there, Caroline de Maigret is a music producer and model in Paris.

I was just cruising around IntoTheGloss (as you do when you have several uni essays due but really really don't want to do them) and stumbled across this interview with her from 2012.

Check out how much Chanel she uses as part of her beauty routine?! Oh I wish, I wish.

The bonus? She uses MAC mascara! And a lot of it.

Check out the full interview over here.

27 YEARS ON

Happy Air Max Day!

27 years ago, Nike released its first Air Max. A lot has changed since 1987 (including no more than 9 varieties of the shoe) but the trainers?? Well they're still going strong (mostly credit to a certain Miss Philo-well aren't most trends currently down to her?!)

Pictured are my beloved Limited Edition Snow Leopards that I probably over wear but have never stopped loving.

MAGNUM

The best things are in black and white.

In case you hadn't noticed I have a slight (ok HUGE) obsession with all things monochrome. My friends take the mickey but I just do think there is nothing more chic than a lack of colour.

And this photograph also prove that.

This gorgeous Magnum print of Bridget Bardot shot by Philippe Halsman was given to me by my amazing godmother for my 21st birthday (thank you!)

And it is beyond perfect.

Here's to expanding my collection. And turning 22...

PARDY!

So turning 21 doesn't happen every day...so I've managed to stretch it out for a good 10 days!

Starting with a dinner with my parents in London, followed by a weekend in Paris and now just getting ready for an epic party this evening!

I for one cannot wait.

Got to go. There's a party to be organised!

21 is going to be a good old year.

PARIS IN A DAY

This is actually outside Buckingham Palace where the cyclists started their journey (hence the pot of Vaseline!)

Laduree-Needless to say I could not afford  to buy one, just look!

Because everyone's a tourist by the Eiffel Tower right?!

So here it is. My Paris-in-a-day photo diary.

You might all be wondering why I was in Paris and for such a short time. Well some amazing friends of mine cycled from London to Paris in 24 hours and they made it!

Honestly the most incredible event to be part of (I drove the support car) and in the process they managed to raise over £5000 for Teenage Cancer Trust. Just amazing.

On the Sunday we had an epic day of sightseeing and here are my snaps from it.

Started at the Eiffel Tower, walked all the way along through the Louvre gardens to Notre Dame. Ate lunch sitting by the river then climbed up the Sacre Coeur where we got the best view of the city.

Paris you had me at hello. I will definitely be coming back for more.

Wearing:

1. Top: Cheap Monday    Scarf: Liberty    Sunnies (throughout): RayBan
2. Shirt: Topshop    Jeans: Zara    Trainers: Nike
3. Jacket: IsabelMarant pour H&M    Shirt: Vintage    Jeans: Topshop (old)

So for those of you who follow me on Instagram, you will know why I've been blog silent for the weekend. I've been incredibly busy turning 21 and going to Paris!!

It has been one of the best weekends I've ever had. Paris is a city I'd never been to before but I shall defo be going back to.

Beautiful buildings, delicious pastries and unbelievable views, Paris you were good to me.

Here's just a cheeky snap shot. I still have to go through all my hundreds of photos so stay tuned for a full run down of my weekend's activities.

MARCH HOTLIST

The hotlist this month is all about the accessory, just a little something to liven up an outfit, taking you seamlessly from winter to spring.

Needless to say the Breton stripe is a wardrobe essential and the perfect way to wear print if you are like me and a little apprehensive of all that colour.

And thank you to those who decide the trends because the trainer is here to stay for 2014. And I feel like it may be the year that Adidas sneaks up on Nike to claim the title for most coveted trainer.

This style is the Gazelle and it’s faultless. Sleek, suede and oh so comfy, I think that these might just be my next purchase. Join me why don’t you?!

Tunic: Topshop    Blusher: MAC    Belt: Topshop    Sunnies: AJ Morgan Hollywood @ Asos    Fedora: Zara
Clutch: Samudra    Salt Spray: Toni&Guy    Bracelets: Zara    Trainers: Adidas
