So although I haven't been able to go to LFW for Saturday and Sunday (someones gotta earn the beans!) I thought I'd just tell you a bit about the British Fashion Council's project Newgen.
It was set up in 1993 to nurture the designers of tomorrow and in 2002 was sponsored by Topshop to give the designers the opportunity to reach an international level. It is a fantastic project that has enabled many designers to make a break when they wouldn't have otherwise been able to.
This year at Somerset House, the Newgen designers have been given a few showrooms in which to showcase a few of their pieces in the run up to their shows. My favourite one has got to be Simone Rocha who's show on Tuesday morning I am determined to see! I will keep you posted as to how I get on.
Up bright and early tomorrow to head into London for some more interviews and hopefully some more shows.
