F`R`I`E`N`D`S

Yesterday I cried in a Friends episode. Not proper heaving tears but you know, I felt a bit weepy. It was an old episode when a baby is born and I just welled up a little. It was embarrassing. Thankfully no one was home except my dog...so only she saw.

Anyway, not the point of this post.

I'm in love with this photo.

Totally genuine happiness and friendship.

This photo is getting me so excited for the next few months celebrating being free with my friends, hopefully in the sun, with good music, good food and probably fairly revolting wine.

Oh well. The time for pleasant tasting alcohol will come.

My weeks of fun properly start on Sunday when I am flying out to France with two of my best friends to spend just under a week maxing relaxing by a pool and stuffing our faces with croissant after croissant.

Safe to say I have  no idea what to take but I have lain out my bikini ready to go.

Oh well. It's a start.

OFF DUTY

Now that the dissertation is in, I've escaped from uni and am officially off the radar.

Well, kind of. Instagram doesn't count ok?

Secluded country house, beautiful gardens, sporadic sun, heated massage beds.

Living in a bath robe & those flappy hotel slippers. You know the ones that are always too big. Sometimes with underwear, sometimes without.

Total & utter bliss.

Back to reality tomorrow but for now, I'm out.

WASHED OUT

Strip off, hold your breath & dive in.

Dissertation is in. Who knows how it's gone. Who cares now.

Summer has officially started.

BELLA

Totally untouched gorgeousness courtesy of Bella Hadid.

Inspiration for us all that some girls actually do just look like that...

Don't know whether that's inspiring or really quite depressing actually.

We'll go with inspiring as it's the weekend...and I'm in bed...eating biscuits..feeling obviously inspired.

MAGIC

Oh oh oh it's magic, you know. Never believe it's not so...

Yea, well in my head I'm singing that line and it sounds really good. And I'm sat in my uni house... listening to torrential rain...so there could be an argument that I'm going insane...oh well...c'est la vie.

Anyway back to the magic.

I'm not one to usually post on beauty but this Egyptian Magic cream is just the bomb. There's always been so much hype around it and I was a bit skeptical when I first got it.

But!

Good old Father Christmas delivered and so I figured it would be rude not to try.

And I love it! I use it all over my body after a shower in the evening (as it is quite oily so needs time to sink in). I've tried it on my face but my incredibly sensitive skin did not appreciate it.
Everywhere else though is silky smooth.

So for those doubting the hype, sometimes you just gotta try these things out for yourself.

(I realise it is quite pricey but when in doubt, Amazon's always got your back)

Pic shot with iPhone6 as my digital camera is broken!!!!!! Genuinely want to cry when I think about it.
